Fjodor Lamm graduated in electrical engineering at the FH-Aachen with a focus on communications engineering. He gained experience in technical support and product management at KERPEN GmbH & Co.KG. He then worked in business development and product marketing at Nexans Deutschland GmbH, where he developed the FTTO and Industrial Ethernet product portfolio. At devolo AG he was Senior Product Manager for Smart Grid and later responsible for the portfolio of operators and Internet service providers. Currently, Fjodor Lamm is head of product management for copper and fibre optic cables and system technology at KERPEN DATACOM GmbH.
PoE network infrastructures
In his keynote, Fjodor Lamm will take a closer look at the network infrastructure of companies and highlight its importance for energy efficiency and sustainability. The presentation addresses requirements, factors and cable parameters for an efficient infrastructure. Special attention will be paid to the role of Power over Ethernet (PoE) as an alternative to conventional power supply for devices.
