Using a real attack with Sodinokibi (REvil) as an example, the presentation reveals how professionally organized extortion operations are carried out, why traditional security measures often fail, and how attackers can infiltrate and control networks almost unnoticed.
In a live demonstration, the speakers will show just how easily such attacks can take place. At the same time, they will present concrete steps companies can take to significantly strengthen their IT security. Because the key question is no longer: Could it happen to us? – but rather: When?
